Dune 2000 is a Windows 95/98 game from 1998. It is a partial remake of Dune II, but it has a very much improved control set and of course improved graphics. Dune 2000 is set on the alien planet Arrakis, a desert planet ruled by the gigantic sandworms which pillage the landscape.
